Game count for the GFRC Landscape

Coordinated wildlife surveys across all properties in the landscape are critical

One of the major challenges identified on wildlife management in the landscape is uncoordinated wildlife survey. In 2014, Gondwana recorded an exponential increase in the number of Mountain Zebras. Therefore, to improve the understanding of populations, the Landscape Management Committee has identified coordinated wildlife surveys across all properties in the landscape as critical. As conventional aerial game counting methods for mountainous terrains such as the GFRCL is expensive, the landscape together with the GSNL are looking at alternative methods.
