The Windhoek Green Belt Landscape comprises a number of separate land units, ranging from working cattle farms, game farms and a conservation area. Read more about them below.

Daan Viljoen Game Park
Just 24 km west of Windhoek - and forming an important part of the Windhoek Green Belt Landscape - lies the Daan Viljoen Game Park, a sanctuary for a relatively large population of game species typical of Namibia's highlands.
Duesternbrook
In the northern area of the Windhoek Green Belt, Düsternbrook and the neighbouring farms of Ombota and Davidsrehe are under sustainable management as an extensive game farm and include Düsternbrook Guest Farm, which has been awarded 4 eco award Namibia flowers.
Godeis
The 7000ha farm within the majestic Khomas Hochland mountain range is just a stone throw away from Namibia's capital, Windhoek. A wide range of activities are offered on the farm including a farm stay and camping. And for the more adventurous outdoor lovers also mountain biking and hiking.
Klein Onduno
Klein Onduno makes up a large portion in the central area of Windhoek Green Belt Landscape.
Monte Christo
Situated in the eastern part of the landscape, Monte Christo is a working cattle farm.
Otjiseva
Situated in the north-eastern section of the landscape, Otjiseva is managed as a cattle and hunting farm. Game species present include oryx, kudu, zebra, warthog, giraffe, springbok, leopard, hyena and cheetah.
