Upgrading of ablution facilities at Namib Naukluft Park

NAM-PLACE recently upgraded the ablution facilities at the 2x4 parking at the entrance to the Sossusvlei Dunes in the Namib Naukluft Park. Six new temporary toilets were built to serve the needs of the high number of visitors to the area, whilst the Ministry conducts a feasibility study for permanent structures.

Plans are also underway to develop appropriate signange for the area, which will assist in offering more information to visitors about the features at the site such as Dead Vlei, Nara Vlei and other significant areas.
