In April 2015, our new hiking trail was completed. The 6-day Khomas Hochland Hiking Trail is 90km long and was mapped out and designed by Albert Bossert, chairman of the Hiking Organisation of South Africa (HOSA). The trail winds through rugged river beds, up and down incredible mountain ranges and through impressive gorges. Spectacular views will accompany you on you hiking encounter with Namibia's raw nature.

There are also Day Routes available, varying from 5-20km.

NAM-PLACE recently received visitors from Global Environment Facility (GEF) who are on a drive to visit the sites/projects they fund. The main reason for the visit is to find out what impact their involvement yields in promoting sustainable environmental practices around the world. WGBL is in the process of building a 90km 6 day hiking trail, as well as three weekend trails (total 70km) through the heart of the Khomas Hochland. Albert Bossert, Chairman of HOSA (Hiking Organisation South Africa) has mapped out and designed the trails along beautiful river beds, up and down some incredible mountains ranges and through impressive gorges.
