New insights into animal movements in the landscape

Movements of individual springbok (3 animals), oryx (5) and mountain zebra (4) are being tracked by the Namibia University of Science and Technology (NUST) and providing new insights into the land use of these animals. It is apparent that many factors influence animal movements including food availability (to be corroborated with rainfall data) and the presence of fences.
