Rupara Campsite is a community-owned and operated campsite set in a tranquil wilderness setting near Mamili National Park. It affords visitors easy access to both Mudumu and Mamili National Parks. Guided services and cultural attractions are readily available here.

Rupara Campsite features four simple camp sites, each of which have a water tap and fire place. There is an abundance of hot showers and bathroom facilities conveniently located on site. There is also a small bar serving a variety of cold drinks.

Guided tours and visits to local villages are available upon request for those that want to learn about the region’s flora, fauna, climate, geology, cultures and history.  Hiking and canoeing tours can also be arranged.

This region was originally a floodplain but is now a mosaic of wood and grasslands. Wildlife is plentiful here. Species that are found around camp and in the nearby National Parks include lion, elephant, buffalo, leopard, roan, tsessebe, impala, kudu, duiker, reedbuck, wildebeest, warthog and reedbuck.
