Located in the Bwabwata National Park in Western Caprivi and set on the banks of the Mashi River, Nambwa is a well-kept secret among travellers in Namibia. This secluded and idyllic spot is perfect for camping and for any game lover. It’s also an excellent base for exploring the park.

Each one of the individually decorated 10 luxury tented en-suite rooms is built on top of three and four meter high platforms with its own private raised viewing deck, that provides each guest with the most intimate and exquisite game viewing experience. And for the bird lovers, the intimacy of the emergence of the rooms with the treetop canopy makes for breathtaking photographic opportunities.

Each private campsite overlooks the Mashi River, and shared bathroom facilities with hot showers and kitchen facilities are located on site. Please note, however, that there is no electricity, and visitors need to bring their own drinking water.

Many types of wildlife and bird life are commonly seen near the campsite and photo safaris in Bwabwata National Park are available on request.

Buffalo, lion, elephant, leopard and many other species roam the area close to the banks of the Mashi River. In addition to the abundance of exciting wildlife, Nambwa also offers excellent bird watching opportunities.
